Using the Floating Fur Cleaning Tool to Take Care of Your Women’s Faux Fur Coats

Hey, fashionista sisters! Owning a woman’s faux fur coat is like holding the key to warmth and style in fall and winter. But after using it for a while, some floating fur will inevitably show up. Don’t worry! Today, I’m gonna share with you how to use the free-floating fur cleaning tool we give you to keep your coat looking fabulous all the time.
First, let’s get to know this “magic tool” for cleaning floating fur. Usually, it’s a special soft-bristled brush. The bristles are really fine and soft, so they won’t scratch the delicate faux fur fabric. The handle feels nice and comfortable in your hand, making it easy to apply force. Some of them also come with a small lint roller. The adhesive on the roller paper is just right – it can pick up the floating fur without leaving any residue on the clothes.
For the first step of cleaning, lay your coat flat on a spacious and clean table or bed. Smooth out the wrinkles so that every inch of the faux fur can stretch out nicely. If you try to clean it while it’s hanging, the floating fur will just fly around in the air. It’ll be a pain to clean up later, and it might even get back onto the coat again. Now, pick up the soft-bristled brush and gently brush it in the direction of the fur. Start from the collar, then go along the shoulders, back, cuffs, and down to the hem. Be gentle and slow, just like you’re giving the coat a nice, gentle “massage”. You’ll notice that those loose floating furs will gather up nicely along with the brush bristles. Just give it a little shake, and you can get rid of them in the trash can.
When you come across some stubborn clumps of floating fur that the brush can’t handle, it’s time for the lint roller to shine. Roll the lint roller gently over the area with the floating fur, and those naughty little things will be “caught” on the roller paper in an instant. Remember to peel off the used layer of paper every few rolls to make sure the adhesiveness stays strong and you can clean efficiently.
For those detailed parts like the fur collar and cuffs where dirt and floating fur tend to accumulate, first use the tip of the soft-bristled brush to carefully pick and brush, separating the tangled floating furs. Then use the lint roller to finish the job. Repeat this process a few times to make sure these details look as good as new too.
After cleaning the floating fur, don’t just stuff the coat back into the closet. Hang it in a place with good ventilation and some sunlight, but avoid leaving it in the sun for too long. Let the fabric “breathe” for a while so that it can keep its fluffiness and look great the next time you wear it.

About BaiYunFur

On a bone-chilling winter day with a fierce north wind howling, the founder, Baiyun, chanced upon a fur coat. Its silky and soft texture, along with the warmth it exuded, was like a brilliant ray of light, deeply touching the core of his heart. Regrettably, the staggering high price placed it beyond the reach of the majority. At that precise moment, a resolute belief quietly took root in his mind: he was determined to painstakingly create fur products of exceptional quality and affordability, enabling more people to truly experience the warmth and luxury that fur could offer during the freezing winter.
